Kendall Morris, Miss Southlake's Outstanding Teen, was named Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen 2006 . She wowed the audience with her talent performance, playing Liberace's Chopsticks on the piano. In addition to the title, Kendall was awarded the Overall Best Evening Gown Award. Kendall edged out 36 other contestants from across the state of Texas to win the title, and she was the very first Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen to be crowned live during the statewide telecast of the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant. She was awarded $4250 in cash scholarships. Kendall will represent Texas in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant in August in Orlando, Florida.
