Natalie
Jenkins, our Miss Teen Southlake, was a Top 5 finalist
being named 3rd Runner-up to Miss Teen Texas while also earning
the Overall Interview Award, Overall Alpha Interview,
and the Overall Alpha Highpoint Award providing her over $2700 in scholarships.
Natalie’s platform is Mentoring: Unlocking Potential One Child at a Time.
Since receiving her title, Natalie has presented her ‘My Mentor and Me’
program to several Southlake schools and other local venues. Natalie’s
goal is to improve the lives of children by raising the awareness of mentoring
opportunities and by increasing the number of mentoring relationships. She
further believes that in a day and age where there is an overwhelming lack
of positive examples for children that mentoring is a necessary preventive
measure - not an option.
