Cristie
Kibler, our 17 year old Miss Southlake, was a Top
10 semi-finalist at Miss Texas while earning an Alpha
Preliminary Talent Award, Alpha Community Service Award, the Overall Community
Service Award, and the Miss America State Community Service Award providing
her over $2800 in scholarship. Kibler is now eligible to compete
for $5000.00 in additional scholarships on the national level, and will be
the Texas representative for the National Community
Service Award. During the past twelve months Ms. Kibler has logged
more than 560 community service hours, appearing at over 60 events, and seeing
over 25,000 people as a tireless advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness. Her
chosen platform is Breast Cancer Awareness, Accepting the Challenge/Crusading
for Change. She is the founder of a non-profit organization “Cristie’s
Cancer Crusaders” and the editor/founder of a monthly newsletter “The
Crusader”.
